Model AI is an add-in for Siemens Solid Edge 2026. You describe the part in the panel on the right, and the add-in builds the 3D model in Solid Edge. The AI runs entirely on your own computer: drawings, dimensions and part data never leave the building.

Why Model AI
The AI model runs on your own computer; Model AI sends no data to the internet while it works. On projects under confidentiality obligations, defense work included, keeping drawings on the machine is not a preference but a requirement. Cloud assistants process your data on their servers and promise to protect it; with Model AI, the data never goes out.
No command syntax to memorise, no hunting through menus. "Make a 100x60x20 box, drill a 20 mm hole in the top face, 10 deep." That sentence is a part. To our knowledge, Model AI is the first commercial CAD add-in that builds parts from Turkish sentences.
If a critical dimension is missing, it asks instead of guessing. When it uses a standard value, such as a through hole when no depth is given, it says so plainly in the panel. No silent assumptions.
How it works
Internet access is needed only for installation. After that, the computer can stay on a fully closed network.
We install it with you over screen sharing. The AI models are downloaded once; after that, the product works offline.
Open a part in Solid Edge and the Model AI panel is ready on the right. Describe the part; if a critical dimension is missing, the panel asks.
The part is a real solid in Solid Edge: save it, make the drawing, add your own features. Change its dimensions from the panel in the same session.
Capabilities
Box, cylinder, cone, sphere; holes, chamfers, fillets, shells, patterns, mirrors. Turning a cutting DXF into a solid.
Grades such as S235, 304 stainless and 6061 are assigned from the Solid Edge material table.
Helically cut metric threads on shafts, threaded bolts, BSP threaded pipe.
Enlarge a hole, move it, change the tooth count: on parts Model AI built in the same session.
Railings, flagpoles, lockers and more; weight calculation and an ISO 1461 galvanising suitability check.
Recognises catalogue products from a photo; asks for the critical dimension or states the standard one it used. The photo stays on your computer.

Commands from your phone
Type "telefon" in the panel and scan the QR code with your phone's camera. The Model AI page opens in the phone's browser; type a command or send a photo of the product.
The phone connects to the computer only over the same local network, with no server in between. No internet needed.
Today Model AI does not do: freeform/organic surfaces, or 3D models from dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings. It understands Turkish commands only. Editing afterwards works only on parts Model AI built in the same session, with verified patterns; the features it builds do not appear in Solid Edge's own dimension and variable table. Photo recognition identified the product correctly in [45 of 54 real photos]; when it can't recognise something, it says so. It never fakes its way through a request it can't handle. Pricing
We can adapt Model AI to your company, for example ready-made templates for your own products or your own material lists. Implementation is not included in the licence: we scope it with you and quote by the time the work needs.
Prices are per computer, excluding applicable taxes. Trial applications are reviewed and approved individually; for approved applications the trial period starts once installation is complete.

No. The models run on your computer; Model AI sends no data to the internet while it works. Your sentences and photos are processed on your computer and stay there. Internet access is needed only for installation. Two notes: the local-network link between phone and computer is unencrypted, so do not use it on shared or guest Wi-Fi. Your phone's own cloud backup and voice keyboard are independent of Model AI; we recommend turning them off for confidential work.

We recommend a workstation with a graphics card. On a test machine without one (15.7 GB RAM), response times varied between 4 and 120 seconds: it works, but you wait.
